United RE Announcement and Job Openings

The United Unitarian Universalist Congregation in Waukesha is excited to announce that we are restarting our Religious Education program, guided by our new minister, Reverend Jim Coakley.

Religious Education will be offered on Sunday mornings during our services (10:30-11:30 a.m.), and we will have two classrooms: one for elementary-age children and one for middle and high school-age children.

Reverend Jim will compile the curriculum weekly for both classrooms, and United volunteers will assist with preparing the rooms with any necessary books or materials for the lesson.

United is seeking 2 RE educators to teach these lessons on Sunday mornings. The pay rate is $25/hour, and expected time worked is 2 hours per week per educator. The curriculum will be sent ahead of time for review, and materials will be ready for each class upon arrival. No prior teaching experience is required; applicants must be at least 18 years old and love working with children!
