Support United
Thank you for considering supporting our congregation with a monetary gift!
The easiest and most common method of donating is by using Autobooks or Paypal. By clicking on either link below, you can set up one-time or recurring donations directly from your bank account or credit card.
*Please note Autobooks has a 1% processing fee for Bank Accounts and 3.6% processing fee for Credit Cards. Paypal has a 2.5% processing fee.
Other Ways to Give
Check
A check can be entered into Autobooks. You may also mail it to the office or place it in the Sunday offering plate. Include in the memo line if it is a pledge or other special donation.
Cash
Cash may be placed in the Sunday offertory plate. Include it in an envelope and add a note if it is a pledge or other special donation. This is a great way to help the Share the Plate program.
Bank Bill Pay
You can set up a regular payment using your personal bank’s Bill Pay feature through online banking.
IRA Distribution
If you’re 70.5 years or older, consider an IRA Qualified Charitable Distribution to United.
Stock Gift
Appreciated stock or mutual fund shares can be a tax-smart giving option.
Legacy Giving
Have a lasting impact on United far into the future! A legacy gift is a donation made by an individual through their will or other formal estate planning designation.
If you need assistance with any giving option, or have questions,
please don't hesitate to reach out to the office for help!
Pledges
A pledge promises to donate money to the church within 12 months. Like many non-profit organizations, our Finance Team begins our budgeting process for the following fiscal year in the Spring. They base the budget on our commitments in the annual pledge.
Annual pledges sustain all the worship, religious education, music, social justice, and other programs you love and value. A pledge is a non-binding promise for how we want to support our community throughout the coming year.
The Fair Share Guide was first developed in the 1990s by the Henry David Thoreau Unitarian Universalist Congregation in Stafford, TX, and subsequently adapted by the UUA as a helpful resource for everyone. The guide's financial commitment levels are suggestions, starting at 2% of adjusted income for congregants earning up to $1,000 monthly. At the other end of the spectrum, the guide suggests a full 10% commitment of adjusted income, regardless of a congregant’s income level.

Wherever you find the right level, revisit it periodically and reassess whether it’s still the right level for you or if you are ready to move to a deeper level of support. If unexpected financial challenges come up for your family during the year, please let us know, and we will adjust your commitment per your instructions immediately.

Thank you for supporting United. We are grateful to all of you for generously giving your time, talents, and financial support.
