Rev. David Kraemer
Rev. David Kraemer comes to ministry after 24 years of work as a writer and editor for newspapers in Wisconsin, Minnesota and Iowa. He believes the ministry is about words and people and he is finding much overlap between the ministry and writing and editing. Rev. David is a graduate of United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities and was ordained in February 2015 in Rochester, Minn. He previously served congregations in Sioux Falls, S.D., and Sioux City, Iowa, and during seminary and formation worked for churches in Rochester, Minn.; Rockford, Ill.; and Fargo, N.D. David’s tasks here include continuing our strong tradition of Sunday worship, caring for congregants, and helping the church grow its vision in the world. He calls himself a naturalistic humanist and sees the church as the soil in which we grow meaning and purpose in our lives. David is an avid bicyclist and kayaker, gardener and birdwatcher, and he believes his immortality is assured by the amount of junk in his garage. Rev. David can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org, or at 515-231-2536.
